Dreams are difficult to place into reality and even more difficult to maintain, however, Greenbrier Interiors has moved into the new  millenium - the result of two generations of dreams.

Greenbrier Interiors is born

Felix Tomas, a designer from Chicago, relocated to Cleveland in the early sixties. While passing through Hudson, Ohio, he developed an instant love for this quaint town of the Western Reserve, where he and his partner Theodore Milby decided to follow their dream of opening an interior design firm. The two men jumped at the chance to rent 219 North Main St. when the tiny, yet charming space became available.

Rooted in History - Then and Now

The building known as the Wooden-Farrar House was built around 1832 and from that time has housed many different businesses. The house had survived the torments of fire and age, as had many of the old historic buildings in downtown Hudson and now stands proudly as a reminder of an era past. Through long hours, hard work, great talent and dedication, their interior design business outgrew the original building, so after some years, Felix and Ted built an exciting octagonal shaped building that jointed the Century home; it stood in perfect harmony with similarly shaped barns in the historic district that had been.

The Past . . .

I had the good fortune to begin my career in 1986 at Greenbrier Interiors after a career in commercial art and advertising. It was a delightful time for me and I felt fortunate to know and work alongside these fine gentlemen. For twelve years we worked on many wonderful projects together before their retirement in 1997. I purchased Greenbrier with the vision to carry on its fine reputation for creative, timeless and classic interior design.

Our current location at 219 N. Main St.
. . . and Future of Greenbrier Interiors

Most recently, Greenbrier Interiors has evolved to offer more comprehensive interior design services to both commercial and residential clients. Our team of experts now operates from the octagonal building that is located behind “All Brides Beautiful”.
